Nursultan Nazarbayev received the chief executive officer of Eni

Astana, June 01, 2010 (Khabar) - Paolo Scaroni informed the President about the current activity of the Italian company and its future plans of work in Kazakhstan. Eni is one of the largest foreign investors in the Republic’s oil and gas sector. Paolo Scaroni also noted the importance of the memorandum of mutual understanding which was signed by Kazakhstan and Italy last year during Nursultan Nazarbayev’s official visit to Italy. This document opens up new horizons for cooperation, especially in gas projects and oil refining.
