MALAYSIAN EDUCATION MINISTER TO VISIT ISI IN DENPASAR
Denpasar, June 1 (ANTARA) - Malaysian Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Haji Mohd Yassin Timbalan is scheduled to visit the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) in Denpasar.
"Along with a delegation he will observe the activities of the art institute on Wednesday," ISI Rector Prof Dr I Wayan Rai said in Denpasar Tuesday.
He said the Malaysian delegation will be studying the activities of the ISI in Denpasar, with the results to be used in the development of a similar institution in Malaysia.
A fine arts exhibition will also be held displaying the best works of the students.
Prof Rai also said the Malaysian delegation`s visit would have special importance to promoting Indonesia`s image and competitiveness, as the ISI of Denpasar would soon hold a student mobility and transfer credit program, also to Malaysia.
