“Childhood bus” cruised around Astana

Astana, June 02, 2010 (Khabar) - Its route ran across children’s favorite places in the capital city and adults tried fulfilling the passengers’ wishes at every stop. The first stop was various amusement rides.

Viktor Zhukov, orphanage pupil:
- I was anticipating for the bus to come and it was a fun ride.

Sholpan Zhantlesova, Kazakhstan Alliance of Students:
- We were children as well and we know how much joy it brings to have an excursion and visit amusement parks. We do our best to make children have more of such cheerful times and try to make them unforgettable.

The morning of June 1 started with giving out presents for children. Children were presented with ice-cream at amusement rides as well as toys and sports equipment by a sponsor near the “Duman” center. Children confessed that it’s good when adults, who can make their day, are around.

Roman Shaban, orphanage pupil:
- We’ve been touring the entire city starting from the camp itself from 8 am today.

Although this bus cruised only around Astana, organizers promised to also launch them in other cities in the near future.
