Opening of House of Mother and Child
Astana, June 02, 2010 (Khabar) - A unique children's home is opened in Astana on International Children's Day, with sponsorship of ENRC Kazakhstan. There is no such a home in the whole Kazakhstan. Conditions for a comfortable stay, not only for children but also their mothers are created here. A unique house of mother and child named symbolically - "Hope". It has everything for kids and their moms - cozy bedrooms, game, laundry, and medical room.
Gulnar Kulusheva, head physician of children’s home:
- We will work with the maternity hospitals, the healthcare department. The homeless mothers and those who are unable to leave the baby with them, will live here.
House of Mother and Child is built under specialized children's home. The idea of creating of “Hope” is living for one year in this house, feed a baby with a breast milk and then woman must decide – to take her child or leave the orphanage forever. They will communicate with experienced psychologists.
Maira Kuandykova, managing director, ENRC Kazakhstan:
- It would be so good not to have such homes in our country at all. And the uniqueness of this home is that it provides moms with an opportunity to think.
ENRC Kazakhstan company allocated over one hundred million tenge for the creation of House of Mother and Child. “Komek” fund was founded for the realization of social projects and the provision of charity. And assistance to children is one of its main directions.

- We patron and supervise a huge number of children's homes, we build kindergartens, and now we are beginning a new project to work on probation of training opportunities to our best pediatricians at best London hospital for children.
