Daelim Industrial wins US$900 mln order from Kuwait

SEOUL, June 11 (Yonhap) -- Daelim Industrial Co., a South Korean builder, said
Friday that it has won a US$900 million order to build a gas plant in Kuwait.
Under the deal with Kuwait National Petroleum Co., Daelim Industrial will build
the facility for 36 months.
The builder said the value of the contract can be adjusted as both sides are
still in negotiations over details.
Shares of Daelim Industrial closed at 62,600 won on the Seoul bourse, up 1.62
percent.
