Concert of Indian symphony orchestra

Moscow, June 16, 2010 (Khabar) - The Indian symphony orchestra has performed in Moscow under the leadership of Marat Bisengaliyev. The orchestra was founded four years ago by the Kazakhstan master and it was honored to perform at the closing of prestigious festival of symphonic music.

Galiya Bisengaliyeva, violinist:
- It’s a great honour, famous musicians from around the world have performed here and it’s good for the musicians of India and Kazakhstan, and I am very happy to be here.

It all started with Marat Bisengaliyev receiving a proposal from Indian patrons of arts to create the first symphony orchestra in India.

Khushroo Suntook, patron of arts (India):
- Marat is a master of music in Kazakhstan. We think his music is so excellent.

Marat Bisengaliyev, orchestra founder:
- Being a musician, I am happy to work with this orchestra. This is just a dream for me. This is good luck and good fortune, which should open the doors for this orchestra and enable it to declare itself to the world.

The festival of symphony orchestras is a parade of world-class orchestras and top rate conductors. The organizers joke that 2 billion people watch live broadcasts of the World Cup and 15 000 watch the closing of the symphony orchestra festival and since they are broadcast simultaneously, this should be considered a great success for classical music.
