Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Mongolian wrestlers won medals in the Free-style Wrestling Asian Youth Championships held June 10-13 in Huangshan city, China.
The competitions attracted some 160 wrestlers from 16 countries. Mongolia was represented by 15 male and female wrestlers in men's seven weight categories and women's eight weight categories. Thanks to grabbing three silver and two bronze medals, the Mongolian wrestlers took fourth place as the team results with 50 points.
B.Nomin (men's 55 kg), S.Purevkhuu (women's 67 kg) and B.Naranchimeg (women's 72 kg) won silver medals, whereas E.Narangerel (women's 44 kg) and B.Davaasuren (women's 48 kg)--bronze medals.

Mongolian judoists led by top ones such as World champion Kh.Tsagaanbaatar, an Olympic champion N.Tuvshinbayar and S.Miaragchaa, will take part in the Judo Grand Slam with a prize fund of USD 154 thousand to be held July 3 and 4 in Moscow, Russia. A winner will receive USD 5,000, runner-up--USD 3,000 and bronze medalist--USD 1,500.
By the way, the final Grand Slam of this year will run December in Tokyo, Japan.
