VP RECEIVES MALAYSIAN DEPUTY PREMIER

Jakarta, June 28 (ANTARA) - Vice President Boediono received Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Tan Stri Muhyiddin Yasin who was making a courtesy call at the former's office here Monday.

Boediono was on the occasion accompanied by Education Minister M Nuh and Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Tryono Wibowo while Deputy Premier Tan Stri Muhyiddin was flanked by the Malaysian foreign affairs ministry's secretary general, deputy trade minister, and the trade ministry's secretary general.

"It was just a courtesy call by a newly appointed Malaysian minister. Nothing substantive was discussed," Boedono's spokesman, Yopie Hidayat, said.

Later, Boediono entertained his Malaysian guests at his official residence.
