Yemen, Finland discuss strengthening parliamentary relations

SANA'A, June 29 (Saba)
- Deputy Speaker of Parliament Himiar al-Ahmar urged on Tuesday to develop the
parliamentary
relations between Yemen and Finland.
This came during al-Ahmar's meeting with the Finnish non-resident ambassador Martti
Isoaro on the occasion of ending his tenure as ambassador to Yemen.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed means of strengthening the bilateral
parliamentary relations between the two friendly countries.
Al-Amar invited the Finnish parliamentarians to visit Yemen to get acquainted with
the parliamentary and democratic experience in Yemen, welcoming the Finnish
expertise
in the parliamentary field and areas of investment in Yemen.
For his part, the Finnish ambassador expressed his happiness for being an
ambassador of his country to Yemen for four years, reviewing the democratic and
parliamentary experience
and modern technical means in the parliamentary work in Finland.
