RoK company helps Vietnamese brides visit homeland

Soul (VNA) – The Korea Airports Corporation (KAC) has presented round-trip
tickets and 450 USD for 10 Vietnamese brides to help them visit their homeland.

A presenting ceremony was held on June 30 by KAC and the Vietnamese Embassy in the
Republic of Korea (RoK).

Aside from helping international multi-cultural families living in RoK integrate
and receive more social welfare, the company aims to assist Vietnamese brides’
families which live by the Incheon international airport and are affected by
aircraft’s noise.

Addressing the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador Tran Trong Toan spoke highly of
KAC’s initiatives, which, he said, manifested KAC’s special care for the
Vietnamese community in the RoK, home to over 35,000 Vietnamese brides,
contributing to boosting the two countries’ relations.

He also expressed his hope that KAC would continue their support for Vietnamese
brides in the future.

On this occasion, a memorandum of understanding on KAC’s support was signed, he
