6 arrested in Saada as flow of migrants continues to Yemen

SAADA, July 03 (Saba) -
The security authorities in Yemen's northern Saada Province have arrested 6 Somali
illegal
migrants, the Interior Ministry said. The arrests took place in the Kitaf district
and the six were turned over to interrogators. Last month, the authorities caught
100 Somalis
and Ethiopians in some Saada districts who illegally entered the country. In Dhale
in the south, the body of an African migrant was found and handed to the UNHCR.
Refugees
from the Horan of Africa countries continue to flee deteriorating situations in
country arriving in Yemen almost daily. They usually arrive at coastlines
disembarked onboard
smuggling boats. According to some statistics, about one million refugees have
already arrived laying more burdens on Yemen's economy and social structure as well
as posing
threats to its national security. MD/FR
