FANR website goes live

Abu Dhabi, July 12, 2010 (WAM)- The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) has launched its official website (http://www.fanr.gov.ae) in a bid to keep members of the public informed about FANR in its role as the UAE's independent nuclear regulatory authority. The website includes information about FANR's scope of work and activities. FANR latest news and events are also included on the website.
The website offers information about the UAE peaceful nuclear energy program with a particular focus on nuclear safety and nuclear security, nuclear waste, emergency preparedness, non-proliferation and on international and domestic cooperation in the nuclear field.
