PJ-BASED RIMBA MULIA CLINCHES HOUSING DEAL IN TAMIL NADU

CHENNAI, July 12 (Bernama) -- Rimba Mulia Management Sdn Bhd, a project
management company based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia has clinched a deal with the
Federation of Small Screen Technicians to build houses for its employees.

Under the deal, Rimba Mulia will build 1,216 houses on a eight-acre site
(3.2 hectares) allotted to them by the Tamil Nadu Government.

The houses will be completed in 36 months," said Rimba Mulia director K.
Mohanchandran to Bernama.

The integrated project, about 45km from Chennai, includes medium-cost
houses, with urban facilities like shopping complex and recreation club.

Tamil Nadu chief minister M. Karunanidhi witnessed the signing ceremony last
Friday with Yip Keng Hoong, director of Rimba Mulia, and popular South Indian
actress Khushboo.

Rimba Mulia had also proposed a similar housing project to the Chennai-based
Federation of Film Employees of South India but has yet to receive a reply,
added Mohanchandran.
