A lawsuit of a second-grader

Almaty, July 20, 2010, Khabar - After the publication of material on the lawsuit in a newspaper Alikhan Zhumanov woke up famous. Second-grader sued the Ministry of Education and demanded 100 million tenge for moral damage. Perturbation was caused by the rules of road traffic for the first and second graders. The statement is in court for 10 days, but so far the situation of interest is not the authors of the textbook and officials from education but for journalists.
The manual of traffic rules for 1st and 2nd classes was published one year ago and had been approved by the Ministry of Education and Science. There are a lot of colorful pictures, but also too much errors. Here, for example, “What kind of assistance should be provided to a wounded bleeding man?” To do this you first need to try to determine which types of blood vessels derived blood. Or homework: “What kinds of shares of blood emerged from the wounds?” and “Make a brief story about one accident you had seen”.
Alikhan is still much to learn and study, but it is unlikely he once again takes up this book. The lawsuit, which was initiated on his behalf and had been signed by his father, says: “After a complete reading of this book I came to the sense of confusion and mental disorders due to attempts to understand this text book. Because it is written in an illiterate way, with a lot of mistakes”.

Alikhan Zhumanov, the plaintiff:
- The worst mistake. I do not like, for example: “What kinds of shares of blood emerged from the wounds?” That is a mistake. Here is the word “popodanie”. In fact, it should be written “popadanie”.

Now Nariman Yesimbekov is the official representative of his son. He says he is displeased with many modern textbooks, but patience is exhausted, when he read this one. Nariman said three ministries: Education, Health and Interior Affairs ratified this manual. Circulation is impressive - 12150 copies. The family brought a lawsuit against the Ministry of Education in Yesil district court of Astana, and now Alikhan and Nariman wait for starting the process.

Nariman Yesimbekov, father:
- I can not tell in advance about the outcome of the case. I hope at least for a fair verdict. The judges, I hope, at least, will understand, because, as Alikhan sued not just for good reason. This is really a threat of a national scale.

The boy demands in lawsuit not only 100 million for causing moral harm, but also a public apology from the Ministry of Education. Ministry of Education hasn’t yet commented on the situation.
