Yemen, Djibouti discuss security, economic cooperation

SANA'A, July 28(Saba) - Prime
Minister Ali Mujawar met here on Wednesday with the Interior Minister of Djibouti
Yasin
Almi Boh.
The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries
in economic and security areas, especially with regard to the development of
bilateral
trade and enhancing joint efforts to combat piracy and illegal activities in
southern the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
Mujawar voiced his satisfaction with the level of cooperation and coordination
between the two countries in the security area weather in combating crime or in the
field
of training and rehabilitation.
He noted the importance of focusing on the development of economic relations during
the coming period to serve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.
For his part, the Djiboutian Minister confirmed the strength of Yemeni-Djiboutian
ties, referring to the existing cooperation and coordination between the security
agencies
in the two countries to fight against terrorism, maritime piracy and smuggling
activities in the sea.
He expressed his appreciation for the support, logistical help provided by the
Yemeni security services to their counterparts in Djibouti.
