Celebrating of Constitution Day in Pavlodar

Pavlodar, August 31, 2010 (Khabar) - In Pavlodar the military parade in Astana has been broadcasted on the streets, since residents of the city fixed four large monitors. Traditionally veterans have become honoured guests of the holiday. At the main square city residents organized a parade, which involved over 25 thousand people. Metallurgists and oil workers, builders and railway men, teachers and medical men, students and pupils have marched at the central square.

Naina Demidenko, cadet:
- Constitution is very important document. Everybody must remember we must be patriots of our country.

Naina is 17 years old and she is going to continue her education in the highest military academy to serve the homeland and protect the Constitution rights of Kazakhstani citizens. And there are persons whom she can take fro a model.

Token Zhakupov, veteran of World War II:
- I served in navy at “Kirov” cruiser and looking at today’s youth and watching military parade in Astana I feel great satisfaction. A good shift is growing.

Four large monitors were fixed in Pavlodar in order everybody could watch the military parade in Astana.

Kamo Badoyan, chairman, Armenian “Airenik” centre:
- The Constitution gave peace, prosperity and political stability to every resident and ethnic group of Kazakhstan.

The parade, which was organized in Pavlodar in the honour of the anniversary of the main law of the country, involved 117 industrial enterprises and organizations. Employees of different plants were the first who appeared at the central square. Foundry workers, milling machine operators, mechanical engineers and chemists are the pride of the industrial Pavlodar.

Bakitzhan Zhulamanov, Pavlodar mayor:
- The city is not lying idle. We are developing and constructing new faculties such as hospitals and houses.

Traditionally, at the day of the Constitution residents of Pavlodar, who recently marked 16 years received ID cards and passports. At the central square people enjoyed different contests and exhibitions.
