GM Daewoo introduces all new 2011 Lacetti Premiere

SEOUL, Sept. 6 (Yonhap) -- GM Daewoo Auto & Technology, the South Korean unit of
U.S. automaker General Motors Co., on Monday introduced the 2011 models of its
popular sedan Lacetti Premiere.
The 2011 Lacetti Premiere comes with either a 1.6-liter or 1.8-liter gasoline
engine, along with various new and improved features to make the driving
experience more pleasurable, the company said in a press release.

The new 1.6-liter engine is equipped with a variable intake manifold that
automatically varies the length of the intake track to help optimize power and
torque across the range of engine speed operation while also allowing better fuel
efficiency.
The new Lacetti Premiere is also the first mid-size sedan here to have a cruise
control system, the company said.
"The Lacetti Premiere is a global vehicle that is already recognized in the
domestic and overseas markets for its world top-class style and safety features,"
Kim Sung-kee, head of GM Daewoo's domestic sales marketing bureau, said.
The starting price of the Lacetti Premiere 1.6 is set at 14.66 million won
(US$12,520) with that of the Lacetti Premiere 1.8 set at 16.11 million won.
