SNACC to refer 60 files to prosecution

SANA'A, Sep. 20 (Saba)- The Supreme National
Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) approved on Monday to refer 60 state
officials
to the General Prosecution due to failure to present their financial disclosures.
This comes as a first batch out of 500 officials still waiting their situation to
be addressed.
It also approved, in its meeting chaired by the Authority chairman Ahmed al-Anisi,
to send memos to ministers, governors, authorities, institutions, banks and public
and
mixed companies in order to send their representatives to SNACC so as to review
lists of others who have not submitted their financial disclosures.
Moreover, the meeting discussed a number of corruption issues currently
investigated by the Authority.
