EXCISE TAXES CHANGED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting held Wednesday decided to change excise tax that is imposed on some oil products.
Excise tax imposed on "A-80" auto fuel that has been imported through border checkpoints Sukhbaatar, Zamiin-Uud, Ereentsav and Altanbulag has been increased to MNT 210 thousand from MNT 150 thousand per ton. A price of "AI-92" auto fuel has been increased to MNT 200 thousand from MNT 170 thousand per ton. The size of excise tax on diesel fuel has been declined to MNT 135 thousand from 215 thousand.
The decision will come into force from October 8 this year.
An excise tax on auto fuel and diesel fuel that are imported through other border checkpoints will not change.
The Russian "Rosneft" company has decreased prices of "A-80" auto fuel by USD 34 per ton and of "AI-92" auto fuel--by USD 23, but has increased the price of diesel fuel by USD 74 per ton.
