Indian Army chief visits Comilla area and BMA
DHAKA, Bangladesh, July 31 (BSS)- Visiting Indian Chief of Army Staff General Deepak Kapoor visited Comilla area and BangladeshMilitary Academy (BMA) today.
In Comilla area, the Indian Army Chief visited Liberation War Memorial sites, different Liberation War fields area and 2ndWorld War Cemetery.
On his arrival at Comilla, the Indian Army Chief was welcomed by Area Commander and General Officer Commanding (GOC) 33Infantry Division Major General Anwar Hussain.
Later, the Indian Army chief went to Bangladesh Military Academy, at Bhatiary, Chittagong and witnessed different activities at BMA. He visited BMA museum and was also informedabout BMA's training activities.
On his arrival at BMA, the Indian Army Chief was received by Area Commander and General Officer Commanding (GOC), 24 Infantry Division Major General Mohammad Shamim Chowdhury and Commandantof BMA Brigadier General Mohammad Abdul Moeen.
During his visit in Comilla area and BMA, the Indian Army Chief was accompanied by Adjutant General of Bangladesh ArmyMajor General Matiur Rahman and his entourage.
