Russia Deputy FM discusses Siberia, Far East development in Seoul

SEOUL, October 13 (Itar-Tass) - At the consultations held at the South
Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Russian and South Korean
diplomats discussed the development of Siberia and the Far East, Russian
Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Borodavkin told Itar-Tass before the
departure for Moscow on Wednesday.
"In the development of this vast Russian region both countries can
yield very substantial benefits from pooling the efforts, from joint
investments, the development of technological, including innovation
potential and from the use of the regional resource base and other
opportunities that Siberia and the Far East present for economic
cooperation," he said.
