DUBAI'S GLOBAL VILLAGE BECKONS MALAYSIAN ENTREPRENEURS

DUBAI, Oct 13 (Bernama) -- Malaysian entrepreneurs are being invited to take
part in Global Village 2010/2011 beginning here next month.

Launched in 1996, Global Village has evolved into a premier regional venue
and a family destination for entertainment, celebrating diverse cultures,
cuisine and commerce from around the world.

Diamond International LLC, a member of the Malaysia Business Council in the
United Arab Emirates, is organising the Malaysia Pavilion at the Global Village
this season with the motto "From Malaysia, By Malaysia, To The World".

Malaysia Business Council Dubai president Abdul Hakim Asmaun said Malaysian
businessmen and entrepreneurs should grab this opportunity to promote their
products during the event which welcomes millions of visitors every year.

"State governments (in Malaysia) should also consider participating in this
event," he told Bernama here.

Examples of Malaysian products that may be highlighted at Global Village
include frozen food products, handicraft items, clothing, accessories and beauty
products.

The 15th edition of Global Village is scheduled to kick off on November 11
and will run over 100 days.
