Iranian hajj pilgrims benefiting from Persian digital library

TEHRAN, Nov.2 (MNA) -- A digital library, established by the Supreme Leader’s Representative’s Office in Medina, provides 15,000 digital books for Iranian pilgrims.

The books are different themes including fiqh, hadith, hajj, Mecca, Medina and ahkam (value, ordinance or ruling of Islamic religious laws), the library administrator in Medina, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Ahmad Sajjadi, stated .

“Books on pilgrimage, hajj rituals, Al-Baqi’ cemetery and some Bluetooth that contain essential information for pilgrims are other activities of the digital library,” he added.

He claimed that about 100,000 Iranian pilgrims visit the library to date.

Mecca is also equipped with the same Digital Library of the Supreme Leader’s Representative’s Office in Saudi Arabia, which is managed by Hojjatoleslam Ali Ghazali.
