Iran and Algeria sign 11 cooperation documents

IR of Iran and PD Republic of Algeria signed 11 commercial and cultural cooperation documents here Monday in line with 2 countries’ ever-more strengthening of bilateral ties policy in various fields.


According to IRNA Political Desk, the information website of the Presidential Office reported Monday evening that the documents were signed in the presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Algeria Ahmad Bou-Yahya.
The documents are in civil and commercial, agricultural, sanitary, higher education, sistership of Imam Khomeini Port and China’s
Bejlia region, establishment of Iran-Algeria Joint Commercial Council, establishment of Iran-Algeria Joint investments Committee, establishment of Iran-Algeria Joint Investment Fund, an executive program between the two countries’ physical education organization and one between the Iranian and the Algerian Housing and Rural Development Organization.
Rahimi and Bou-Yahya also signed a letter of understanding on the First High Level Cooperation Gathering of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
