China`s premier seek for more intensive cooperation with Moscow.

MOSCOW, November 24 (Itar-Tass) - The premier of China's State
Council, Wen Jiabao, currently in Moscow, has met with the city's mayor,
Sergei Sobyanin, on the sidelines of the 5th Russian-Chinese economic
forum, which opened at President Hotel on Wednesday. During the talks Wen
said he was glad to meet Sobyanin and congratulate him upon his
appointment to the post of Moscow mayor.
The Chinese premier also said he would like to intensify cooperation
between Beijing and Moscow.
Wen said he met with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Tuesday
and that the meeting "brought good results."
"This proves that our countries maintian a high level of economic and
political interaction," he said.
According to the Chinese premier, both countries should build up
interregional cooperation for the further development of economic and
humanitarian relations.
"Cooperation between the two capitals is very important. As far as I
know, you visited Beijing four years ago and its mayor is inviting you
again," Wen said. "We believe that Beijing and Moscow will be able to
establish closer cooperation."
Sobyanin thanked the Chinese guest for finding the time for the
meeting. The mayor also said, "China's goods occupy first place in
Russia's trading relations with foreign partners and volume of supplies
from China to Moscow grows dynamically every year."
