Iranian religious book unveiled in Turkey

TEHRAN, Dec. 30 (MNA) -- The Turkish version of the Iranian religious book “The Secret of the Red Pomegranate” was unveiled during a ceremony in Ankara this week.

The ceremony was attended by the book’s translator Mehmet Kaya, Iran’s Cultural attaché Abolhassan Khalaj- Monfared and several other officials and scholars.

Written by Majid Molla-Mohammadi, the book is a collection of short stories on religious themes for young adults.

Mehmet Kaya who was the Turkish cultural attaché to Tehran for three years expressed his thanks over the holding of the ceremony and explained about his motivation for translating this book.

Khalaj-Monfared also announced that the Iranian cultural attaché’s office is ready to support the translation of Persian literary works into Turkish.
