FM meets with UN resident representative
SANA'A, Jan. 10 (Saba) - Foreign Minister
Abu Bakr al-Qirbi has met with UN resident representative to Yemen Pratibha Mehta.
They discussed the bilateral cooperation between Yemen and the UN including
continuous efforts to provide humanitarian aid for the displaced people in Saada
province.
The meeting brought up the upcoming visit of the director general of the United
Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to the country .
Furthermore, it reviewed arrangements for the 2nd ministerial meeting of Friends of
Yemen Group to be held in Riyadh this year.
