2nd teen arrested over playground stabbing

A second teenager has been arrested over the stabbing of a fellow student at a boys' high school in Sydney's west.
A 16-year-old boy was stabbed after an argument with two Year 10 boys in the playground of Granville Boys High School just before 9am (AEDT) on Wednesday.
He suffered several stab wounds to his torso and limbs, and was taken by ambulance to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested just after 6pm (AEDT) on Wednesday and subsequently charged over the incident.
A 14-year-old boy, who presented at Auburn police station at 4.20pm (AEDT) on Thursday, is helping police with their inquiries.
Police say they expect to charge him later in the day.
The 15-year-old has been granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Children's Court on March 28.
