CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy D.Zorigt gave a report Wednesday at a regular cabinet meeting on activities of the oil sector. In conjunction with it, he has been obliged to work out drafts of new wording of the law on oil, state policy on oil, and basic guidelines of activities until 2015. He must introduce these documents to a cabinet meeting within the first quarter of this year.
- The cabinet has backed draft amendments to the law on customs tariff and on customs tax, and the law on Value-Added Tax. The draft amendments will be submitted to the State Great Khural.
- The government has approved Mongolia-Bulgaria inter-governmental agreement on freeing diplomatic and official passport holders of both countries from the visa requirements.
