Trinity of Languages strategy
Almaty, 20 August 2008, (Khabar) - The teachers of schools for talented children have discussed new approaches in realization of "Trinity of Languages" strategy.
The teachers from New York and St Petersburg have arrived to Almaty to share their experience. The meeting was organized by the "Daryn" republican scientific and practical centre. Currently, over 30 innovational schools function in Kazakhstan and pupils study in Kazakh, Russian and English here. Special program was made for these schools and textbooks are prepared as well. The problem is lack of teachers that fluently speak three languages. "Daryn" centre and New York Academy of Education have signed the treaty on holding of distant seminars and conferences. This method is more advantageous than foreign probation period and gives good results. This year republican budget allocated 604 billion tenge for education and most part of this sum will be spent for support of talented children. Last year they won 194 gold, silver and bronze medals atinternational contests.
