Delegates of international labor forum
Almaty, 21 August 2008, (Khabar) - The training of professional staff for the republic will be discussed at the international labor forum that will be opened in Rudnyi town.
Tamara Shakirova is one of delegates of the forum, she is candidate of pedagogical sciences and excellent worker of professional and technical education. She has been leading professional lyceum â„ 6 in Almaty for 25 years. Only guys study at this lyceum and education is connected with automobiles. The lyceum trains metalworkers on technical service rendering of auto transport, controllers of auto transport, managers and electric gas welders. And the main is that graduates of the lyceum have a guarantee of employment. The educational establishment was opened in 1978 and Tamara Mukhtarkhanovna Sharipova has been leading the lyceum for 25 years. She says there was one period when the lyceum began to decline and now its role is again increasing because the country needs the young qualified specialists, as President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in his annual message. The lyceum â„ 6 has been cooperating with transport companyfor three years. 30% of its employees are graduates of this lyceum.
Nadezhda Yemelyanova, director on company’s personnel: - Now we elaborate the new project and it supposes change of the program of training of working personnel according to the order of our company. It means that our specifics and our demands will be taken into account. The task is to prepare the specialists just at the basis of the enterprise thatwill employ these people.
It is so called dual system or tutorship and it is implemented now in Kazakhstan. Tamara Shakirova says social partners that help them must have tax preferential and she will speak about it at the forum. She considers most professional lyceums and schools were opened under the Universities anddon’t answer the primary mission, training of qualified workers.
