Tehran museum to showcase Noruz-themed artworks
TEHRAN, March 13 (MNA) -- The Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMCA) planned to celebrate spring with showcasing artworks promoting spring, nature and Noruz, the Iranian New Year celebration.
Works by Iran`s Sohrab Sepehri, Ahmad Esfandiari, Davud Emdadian, Yaqub Emdadian, Abolqasem Saeidi and several other painters are scheduled to be exhibited at the show, which will open on March 22, TMCA deputy curator Ehsan Aqaii said in press release on Saturday.
The museum has also selected calligraphy works by Mohammad Ehsaii, Nasrollah Afjei and Jalil Rasuli for the showcase.
