Yemen, WFP sign sub-agreement worth $43,6 mln

SANA'A, March 21 (Saba) - Yemen and the United Nations World Food Programme signed on Monday a sub-agreement for relief and recovery
worth about $ 43,6 million.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul-Karim Rase'a and the WFP's Resident Representative Gian Carlo Cirri.
The agreement aims to support food aid for 758 thousand cases for the targeted segments in Hodaidha, Hajjah, Amran, Hadramout, Shabwa,Mareb, Sana'a, Baidha, Dhamar, Abyan
and Rimah governorates.
The sub-agreement will support pregnant mothers, breast-feeding mothers and children suffering from malnutrition and babiesbetween 6 to 24 months in complementary feeding
for two years.
