Institute of Strategic Studies and OUP to launch book on Pakistan
Karachi, March 30, 2011 (PPI): Oxford University Press (OUP) and the Institute of Strategic Studies (ISS) will be launching a book - Pakistan: Beyond the ‘Crisis State’.
The book, published by OUP, has been edited by Dr. Maleeha Lodhi. Tanvir Ahmad Khan, Ashraf Jahangir Qazi, Ameena Saiyid and Dr. Maliha will be speakers at the launch in Islamabad on Thursday March 31.
The book is a compilation of essays, written by experts of their disciplines, who discuss the political, economic, social, and foreign policies of Pakistan and the role of great powers and other external factors in shaping the fortunes of this countr
