SPEAKER RECEIVES MRS. NOBUKO HORIBE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Parliament Speaker D.Demberel met Monday Mrs. Nobuko Horibe, a Director of United Nations Population Fund's (UNFPA) Asia and the Pacific Regional Office, who is visiting these days Mongolia.
The Speaker has expressed a satisfaction with activities of the UNFPA, and mentioned that it run many works last years together with its representative in Mongolia in reducing child mortality and in ensuring gender equality.
Demberel has thanked the UNFPA for continuing the collaboration with Mongolia until 2016 and for planning an implementation of some projects and measures.
In her turn, Mrs. Nobuko has underlined requirements to create a unified system of population's data, to have a size of aid for the remote area people reach the state average level, and to ensure needs for family planning, adding that some programs the UNFPA realized fruitfully. She has expressed a hope that the government of Mongolia will implement its promise about paying attention to the matters of youths and teenagers, and will set up a structure of state organization for youths.
Present at the meeting were D.Ochirbat, a head of the Standing committee on social policy, education, culture and science; S.Lambaa, the Minister of Health; S.Banzragch, an advisor to the Speaker, and other officials.
