UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN FIGURE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The number of unemployed who had registered at Labor and Welfare Service Divisions in aimags and capital city and were actively looking for job reached 40.8 thousand at the end of March, 2011, reflecting an increase of 3,649 persons or 9.8 per cent against the previous year.
Compared to the same period of the previous year, the increase in the number of registered unemployed was mainly due to the increases in Ulaanbaatar city (2,304 persons), Bulgan (1,132 persons), Khovd (584 persons), Zavkhan (481 persons), Ovorkhangai (442 persons), Dundgobi (313 persons), Tov (303 persons), and Arkhangai (181 persons), respectively.
