CRIMES INCREASE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ At a national level, 5,091 crimes were registered in the first quarter of 2011, reflecting an increase of 420 crimes or 9.0 per cent compared to the same period of the previous year.
In the first quarter 2011, the crimes caused 1,874 injuries and 346 deaths. The number of injuries increased by 422 people or 29.1 per cent, and the number of deaths declined by 29 people or 7.7 per cent against the previous year.
