Yemeni-Bulgarian talks in Sana'a

SANA'A (Saba) - Yemeni-Bulgarian talk session was held here on Monday at Foreign Ministry.
The session, co-chaired by Foreign Minister in the Caretaker Government Abu Bakr al-Qirbi and his Bulgarian counterpart Nickolay Mladenov, dealt with the political developments
at the Yemeni arena and bilateral relations between Yemen and Bulgaria and the European Union (EU).
Al-Qirbi briefed Maldenov on the political developments in the country and mediation efforts made by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s countries to resolve the political
crisis in Yemen as well as efforts of the EU and the U.S. in this regard.
He confirmed the keenness of the political leadership and the Yemeni government to address the crisis so as to maintain Yemen's unity, security and stability.
Moreover, al-Qirbi called on the EU to support efforts to achieve consensus between the political parties to protect Yemen and the region from any dire repercussions.
For his part, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister affirmed the keenness of his country and the EU on Yemen's unity, security and stability and to support any deal that may lead
to agreement among all parties so as to safeguard Yemen from violence and chaos.
