SK Engineering wins US$47 mln order from UAE

SEOUL, April 12 (Yonhap) -- South Korean builder SK Engineering & Construction Co. said Tuesday that it has clinched a US$47 million order to build a residential complex in the United Arab Emirates.
Under the deal with Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC), SK Engineering will build the complex by September 2012, the company said.
The complex will house two apartment buildings and other facilities, it said.
In March last year, SK Engineering won a $912 million order from a unit of ADNOC to build a gas plant.
Last week, the builder also won a 140 billion won contract to build a subway section in downtown Singapore.
