MONGOLIANS AND FOREIGNERS AT TRAINING
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The sub-regional "Workshop on Dissemination and Use of Census Data in Support of Monitoring Mongolia's Development Goals (MDG) Indicators for Policy and Decision-Making Bookmark" has been running April 12-14 in Ulaanbaatar organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific /ESCAP/ and the United Nations Population Fund /UNFPA/.
Aim of the action is to teach how to work out population and apartments census data documents, to analyze and carry out research into the census information, to plan a dissemination of the census information, to improve an evaluation of the MDGs realization, and to rise an effectiveness of the census data.
The training has attracted representatives of National statistical office, Ministries of health, of education, culture and sciences, of social welfare and labour, of Mongolian State university, and officials from Bangladesh, Laos, Nepal and other countries.
