Hague: 'Libya Has No Future While Gaddafi Remains in Power'

Doha, April 13 (QNA) - British Foreign Secretary William Hague called on Muammar Gaddafi once again to go and leave Libyan people decide their own destiny.
In a press statement in Doha before the meeting of Libya Contact Group on Wednesday, Hague said Libya had no future while Gaddafi regime remained in power and therefore he has to go.
He explained that the Doha meeting will primarily focus on helping Libyan civilians and on how to deliver humanitarian aid to them as well as on how to manage a post-Gaddafi political process along with on how to tighten sanctions against Gaddafi's regime in order to stop the attacks committed by his forces against civilians.
The Contact Group will listen to representatives of the Libyan National Council and their views on the political process during the next stage, the British Foreign Secretary said, stressing that the departure of Gaddafi from power is a key issue that must be focused on.
He also said that the Doha meeting will also discuss the military operations and air embargo implemented by the NATO in order to protect civilians.
