Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The cabinet has discussed and backed a draft amendment to the law on election of localities. The bill will be submitted to the State Great Khural.
The cabinet has discussed a parliamentary resolution on opening general consulates of Mongolia to Hong Kong, a special administrative region of the People's Republic of China; San Francisco, the USA; and to Osaka, Japan. According to statistics, some 27 thousand Mongolians visit to San Francisco, two thousand Mongolians--to Osaka, and up to five thousand Mongolians--to Hong Kong.
