Azerbaijan and Austria discuss legal cooperation
Baku, April 15 (AzerTAc). Austrian extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Azerbaijan Mrs. Silvia Mayer Kaybic has met with the Minister of Justice of Azerbaijan Fikrat Mammadov Thursday.
Azeri minister highlighted legal cooperation between Azerbaijan and Austria. Fikrat Mammadov stressed Austrian experts actively participate in judicial, justice, in particular, penitentiary reforms led by the President Ilham Aliyev.
Austrian ambassador, in turn, said that Austria is interested in legal cooperation with Azerbaijan. She praised the cooperation between the Justice Ministries of both countries. Mrs. Silvia Mayer Kaybic invited Fikrat Mammadov to visit Austria.
The sides exchanged views on justice, court execution, application of alternative punishment, special notary activity, training of judges and other issues of mutual interest.
Then Austrian ambassador toured the Justice History Museum.
