Turkey-Azerbaijan business forum held in Ankara

Baku, April 15 (AzerTAc). Turkey-Azerbaijan business forum has been held today in Ankara.
The forum brought together Azerbaijan`s Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev, Turkish Foreign Trade Minister Zafer Caglayan, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkey Faig Bagirov and businessmen from the two countries.
Addressing the event, Mustafayev highlighted Azerbaijan-Turkey relationship and rapid economic development process in his country. He said although Azerbaijan was exposed to Armenian aggression the country attaches great importance to regional and international cooperation.
Caglayan said Azerbaijan-Turkey relationship was an example for other countries. He underlined the importance of increasing the volume of trade turnover between the two countries.
As part of the forum a protocol on cooperation was signed between Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs.
Then, the Azerbaijani and Turkish businessmen had bilateral meetings to discuss cooperation-related issues.
During the event, Mustafayev also met a group of students studying in Ankara.
