Head of Caucasian Muslims` Board meets Georgian Ambassador
Baku, April 15 (AzerTAc). Head of the Caucasian Muslims` Board Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade met Friday Georgian Ambassador Teymuraz Sharashenidze.
The diplomat conveyed greetings of Georgian President and religious leader to Sheikh ul-Islam.
He underlined the contributions of Pashazade to development of fraternal relationship between the Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples.
The Ambassador expressed assurance that cooperation between religious leaders of Caucasus would further contribute to inter-religious dialogue.
Pashazade, in turn, said Azerbaijan`s President attaches great importance to development of cooperation with Georgia.
Sheikh ul-Islam asked the ambassador to deliver his greetings to Georgian President and religious leader.
