Azeri masters of art back from international festival with medals

Baku, April 19 (AzerTAc). The press conference in the international press center was dedicated to the question of success of the masters of art of Azerbaijan at the UNESCO-supported International Festival of Culture and Poetry in Warsaw on April 11-17.
As stated, the Festival was attended by representatives of more than 20 countries – America, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Canada, Slovenia and Azerbaijan.
President of International Scientific Center "Vector", the cochairman of the International Academy of Sciences of Researches of the Turkic world, PhD, professor, poet-publicist Elchin Iskenderzade has received at festival the medal "Amber", while the soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, honored actress Gulustan Aliyeva – the medal “For service to art” and Diploma. The ashyg music performed on Azeri national instrument saz by Sevil Khidirly, mughams and tesnifs (mugham elements) performed by Gulustan Aliyeva, and E. Iskenderzade`s verses in translation into the Polish language have caused great interest of the participants of festival.
It was underlined that as a result of the purposeful actions carried out by the president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP, Mehriban Aliyeva, there was great interest to culture, art of Azerbaijan in all corners of the world.
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Poland Hasan Hasanov took part in festival.
