‘Azerbaijan-Romania relations will have strong influence on Azerbaijan-Europe ties, as well’

Baku, April 19 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan-Romania relations will have strong influence on Azerbaijan-Europe ties, as well, President Ilham Aliyev said Monday during the joint press statement with President Traian Basescu.
President Aliyev noted currently Azerbaijan had cooperation with the European Union within the framework of the Eastern Partnership program.
“Our cooperation in energy sphere has good prospects. Good conditions exist for development of relations between EU and Azerbaijan in all other fields. These relations are based and have to be based on principles of friendship and partnership.”
