FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE MEETS DP'S AUTHORITIES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A former U.S Secretary of State and a current director of the Board of the National Institute for Democracy (NID) Mrs. Madeleine Albright visited the Democratic Party (DP) Thursday.
There she has been received by the party's chairman and secretary-general N.Altankhuyag and D.Erdenebat and E.Bat-Uul and R.Amarjargal MPs.
The DP's chairman has appreciated Mrs. Albright's visit to Mongolia, including to the DP's headquarters.
They are proud of the Mongolian democratic revolution which was made in peaceful way and which made the country one of the democratic nations in the world. Mentioning that the democracy of Mongolia should learn a lot, Altankhuyag has underlined their party wants to study experiences of the NID in strengthening democracy based on the bilateral collaboration.
Mrs. Albright has said she studies a history of the world countries' democracies and always respects the distinguished people who brought democracy to their countries. "...I admire E.Bat-Uul, one of the leaders of the democratic revolution of Mongolia and Hero of Mongolia, and other authorities of the DP," she has stressed.
After the meeting, Mrs. Albright laid a wreath to the monument to S.Zorig.
