AMENDMENT TO LAW ON STAMP DUTY BACKED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The cabinet backed Wednesday a draft amendment to the law on stamp duty. The amendment will be submitted to the State Great Khural.
In accordance with the amendment, a size of the stamp duty for a special license to trade alcoholic drinks will vary depending on trade locations and on beverages spirit levels. The stamp duty for strong alcohol will be one million togrog in the city, MNT 600 thousand--in aimags' centers, and MNT 300 thousand--in soums.
The payment for prolonging the special license will be MNT 300 thousand in the city, MNT 200 thousand--in aimags centers, and MNT 100 thousand--in soums. The stamp duty for low alcohol drinks will be MNT 300 thousand in the city, MNT 200 thousand in aimags centers, and MNT 100 thousand--in soums.
A size of the stamp duty has been changed for granting special license to import and trade the chemicals that are listed in limited chemical substances in Mongolia. This size has become MNT 10 million.
