PREMIER MEETS GENERALS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the Day of General, the Premier S.Batbold received Thursday military generals in the Government House.
S.Batbold has pointed out that all military people and ordinary Mongolians always proud of the generals, and wished them success in the service.
A leader of the "Mongolian Generals" center Major-General S.Baasankhuu has said the generals are still keeping contributing to protecting of the motherland and its border, ensuring security and orders, implementing at organizations with special functions a reform to ensure Mongolia's Armed Forces and the National Security. On behalf of the gathered a former Minister of Defense Lieutenant-General L.Molomjamts has thanked the Premier for the warm audience.
For the time being, a title of military general has been given to 155 servicemen since the first award given to 11 people in 1944.
